FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS…
Q: How can you provide the same services but charge much less?
A: We work on volume. So many home owners want us to sell their homes that we can make a good living while charging much less.
Q: If I pay less, does that mean I’ll settle for less service, and get less money for my home?
A: A large percentage of any realtor’s business comes from referrals from past clients. We value our reputation and want you to be happy so that you will remember us down the road. Both the average time it takes to sell one of our listings and our Sold Price to Listing Price ratio is the same as you would expect anywhere else. Yes, you’ll pay less, and you’ll get the same or better results than you would get elsewhere, and end up with more money in your pocket at the end of the day.
Q: If you’re offering less selling commission, will other realtors how my home?
A: One Percent Realty is statistically no different than any other brokerage. Approximately 70% of our listings are sold by outside brokerages, just like with any other company. If anyone tells you differently, he or she is misinformed.
THE BOTTOM LINE…
Buyers are savvy – they will see your home advertised and will make the decision to view and/or purchase based entirely on the merits of your home, not on the amount of commission you pay your broker.
The time it takes for a house to sell is based on the merits of your home, not the commission you pay.
The sale price of your home is based on its merits, it’s market exposure and the market conditions, not the commission you pay.
We feel that a commission of $2500-$5000 is fair for the services a Realtor offers and we find that the public feels comfortable with it also.
If your home is well maintained and priced accurately, it will sell in this market.
You don’t need to pay high commission rates to get the most money in the fastest time!
